Violence Against Children - VAC

Violence against Children (VAC) is a global problem which has negative consequences not only for the abused children but also for the society as a whole. In its support to the National Prevention and Response Plan that aims to reduce VAC prevalence by 40%, LVCT-Health through Vukisha95 Project implemented by DEVLINK, is helping to increase access to justice on GBV cases through training and awareness-raising campains in schools within Ruma Kaksingri East and Gwassi South Wards in Suba Sub-County in Homabay. This is done through a multi-sectoral approach that incorporates the Department of Children Services, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and Interior.
